Perfection is a Dead End

Trying to be “perfect” is just our way of Hiding Our Flaws From Ourselves. Nobody actually gains anything, nothing ever gets fixed, no problem ever gets solved, because the ego simply refuses to look at itself. All its faults are simply projected onto the others.

The funny thing is, the ego tells you it’s fooling everyone else, but the truth is something else entirely. In reality, the ego is only fooling one person, the only one it needs to fool.

You.

When we break out of the perfection trap, we break the ego’s spell on us. We open a crack in the shell, just like a baby bird, or a butterfly. There really is no other only way out.

Enjoy the demolition.
