Runaway

There’s a new song I like that says, “Run away, but you’re running in circles.” What would we find… if we actually stopped running away? What happens when we figure out that we’re not actually getting anywhere? What happens when we run out of moves?

Sooner or later, our evasions and games stop working for us. Illusions of future and perfection fall to the floor, and we’re forced to just sit down, be quiet, and face the music. The music that says:

“Wow, I forgot how just how full of wonder I am… all by my lonesome!”

Our minds can’t believe it, but our hearts do. Our hearts remember.

And this is exactly the music they’ve been longing to hear again.
